BL Ballers is a non-profit organisation founded by professional football player Beryly Lubala. Growing up Beryly thought there was a lack of structured platforms (or guidance available) to pursue his dreams of playing football professionally. Feeling this would have benefitted him growing up, as well as seeing the overwhelming numbers of people with the capacity to play at a professional level, but unfortunately not given the opportunity to prove it, he launched BL Ballers. BL Ballers aim to give people of all ages, gender and backgrounds the platform to showcase their skills and compete at a high standard. In 2019 we hosted our first competitive tournament in an attempt to bridge the gap between professional and non-professional footballers.

"We hope to provide an alternative means to fulfil young players footballing dreams."

Here at BL Ballers EDI (equality, diversity and inclusion) is the foundation to our work. There is nothing we want more than to see people of all ages, backgrounds and genders build their own pathways for the future. Our ultimate goal is to create new leaders for the next generation. Rest assured being a part of BL Ballers tournaments (whether you are a player or a member of staff) will take your experience and career to the next level. Those who have attended our previous tournaments can vouch for BL Ballers being more than a standard 5-a-side tournament.
